National health insurance scheme

私たちが病気やけがをしたとき、医療機関で保険証を提示すると、診察・処置・入院などの医療が受けられます。その際に支払う金額は医療費の1割から3割で残りを国保が保険給付として負担します。一方、加入者は保険税を納める義務があります。
次の場合には給付を受けることができます。
療養の給付、入院したときの食事代等、出産育児一時金、葬祭費、療養費、高額療養費
When you get sick or injured, you will get medical treatment, diagnoses, hospitalizes at any of the medical center with the payment of 10% to 30% of actual cost incurred. Other fee will be paid by the national insurance. All of the members are supposed to pay the premium for this insurance.
In below cases, you are entitled to receive the lump sum payment.
Hospitalization, food charge when you are hospitalized, child-birth lump sum, funeral, medical treatment, high cost medical care.

加入・退会のときは、必ず14日以内に届け出をしましょう。加入の届出が遅れると、被保険者の資格を得た月まで保険税をさかのぼって納めなければなりません。またやめるときの届出が遅れると、被保険者の資格喪失後に国保が負担した医療費を返さねばならないことがあります。
You are supposed to notify when you join or resign the membership of national insurance within 14 days. If your joining notification delayed, you are supposed to pay your premium since you obtained your insurance entitlement. If your resignation notification delayed, you may have to return the payment which national insurance organization has paid for your medical cost even after your entitlement is canceled.

If you move from other city town：Only standard forms

If you resign the heal insurance at your working place：You need to submit Resignation certificate of health insurance.

My-number card copy or number of yourself and your spouse.

Your ID card（Foreigner residential card,etc）

海外から来日された次に該当する方は、国民健康保険法施行規則1条1項に基づき、国民健康保険に加入することができません。
If you are visiting Japan for below conditions, you are not eligible to join national insurance scheme based on the National health insurance law enforcement regulation article 1 of 1.

• You are staying less than 3 months short stay in Japan.
• You are staying Japan to get medical treatment as “specific activities”.
